Hornbill Treks & Safaris offers a wide range of outstanding wildlife and nature experiences. A key focus is gorilla trekking in the rainforests of both countries – a truly profound and carefully regulated encounter with the endangered mountain gorillas. The portfolio is further complemented by chimpanzee trekking in some of East Africa’s most biodiverse primate habitats, as well as classic wildlife safaris in selected national parks.
In addition, Hornbill designs fully customised itineraries featuring nature- and landscape-focused journeys, boat safaris, walking safaris and meaningful encounters with local communities. Each trip is personally planned and tailored to the individual wishes of the guest – from the selection of hand-picked lodges to private guiding and seamless on-the-ground logistics.

This year, Hornbill Treks & Safaris is also offering two familiarization trips (FamTrips). A combined trip to Uganda and Rwanda is planned for May, as well as another FamTrip to Uganda in November.
