Hemingways Collection has re-opened their Hemingways Watamu Beach Resort in December 2017, completely renovated and upgraded to 5-Star standards.
The hotel with formerly 76 rooms and suites, has been transformed into a 39 bedroom luxury boutique hotel, all with exceptional sea views of the Indian Ocean, together with a private residential development on the seafront compromising 15 luxury apartments with 1, 2 and 4 bedrooms, all with direct seaview. Substantial upgrades and renovations have also been made in the public areas incl. the restaurant, bars, reception, swimming pools, spa and gym with emphasis placed on optimizing the famous views of the Watamu Marine Park.
