The Mateya Safari Lodge, one of the most exclusive luxury safari lodges in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, took advantage of the forced break and carried out various renovation measures for the guest rooms and public areas:
The 5 spacious and ultra-luxurious guest villas (175 m²) have completely new roofs made of sustainable material and have received cosmetic refreshments in the interior and the pool decks. In the public areas of the lodge, the roofs were also sustainably renewed and the wooden decks oiled.
3 new Toyota Landcruiser safari vehicles were purchased already 2 years ago, tailor-made with only 2 rows of seats, designed for maximum comfort and a maximum of 4 guests per vehicle. Mateya is the only safari lodge in Madikwe that offers this exclusivity as a standard.
Two attractive free night specials, a 3 = 2 until 31 August 2021 and until 15 December 2022 a 5 = 4* as well as a “honeymoon special”* with a 50% discount for the bride, have been launched. Alternatively, the flight special* will continue to be offered; for 4 or more nights, transfer flights with Federal Air from / to Johannesburg are included.
And for families or small groups who want to use the lodge exclusively, a 10% discount on the per person prices is granted*.
