The Chobe Water Villas in the eastern tip of the Caprivi Strip have a new management. O&L Leisure is very pleased to welcome Peter Heckmair as General Manager and Birgit Heckmair as Assistant General Manager. The luxury lodge with only 16 suites is the ideal base to explore the Chobe River and the Chobe National Park on the Botswana side.
New Luxury tents for Konkamoya Lodge
Currently 4 completely new luxury tents are being built at Konkamoya Lodge in the southern Kafue National Park. The tents will be completed by 1. June 2019. All 4 modern luxury tents are larger and more spacious than the previous tents, with a spacious sleeping and sitting area, a large veranda and sala to relax between the safari activities.
Cooperation between Kwando Safaris and Under One Botswana Sky, together on Travel Trade Shows 2019
The two sister companies Kwando Safaris and Under One Botswana Sky, who always had the same owners, have officially merged their partnership in marketing activities. The companies are planning to work together even more closely, most especially on marketing front where they promoting the two brands together to cover all product information and updates for both companies. All camps of the two independent brands are advertised together at the leading travel fairs. Kwando and Under One Botswana Sky will be exhibiting together at Indaba, WTM Africa and We Are Africa. Opening Ole Serai Luxury Camp Seronera and preview new openings 2019/20
The brand new Ole Serai Luxury Camp Seronera opened in March 2019. With Camp Seronera Wellworth Collection opens the 4th Ole Serai Tented Camp in the Serengeti. The construction of the new Serengeti Lake Magadi Lodge in central Serengeti is proceeding according to schedule and is expected to be completed in February/March 2020. Also beginning 2020 the Ole Serai Luxury Camp Kuro is scheduled to open in the Tarangire National Park and continues to complement the rapidly growing Wellworth Collection Safari Circuit.

Re-Opening Kwara Camp
Kwando Safaris has announced that the rebuilt Kwara camp will re-open on 1. September 2019. The new camp with a total of 9 tents on the same place as its predecessor will have much larger and more luxurious tents in an authentic African safari style. As representative of our partner Wellworth Collection from Tanzania Ingo Jacob was in November at the „Africa Showcase Roadshow“ in Central Europe, outstanding organized by the South African agency „On Show Solutions“. In 57 speed meetings of 8 minutes each, he was able to give an overview about the Wellworth portfolio to the trade visitors in Hamburg, Zurich and Munich.
