Konkamoya Lodge – Kafue National Park
Deep in the wild heart of the Southern Kafue National Park lies the beautiful owner-run Konkamoya Lodge as the only camp on the shore of the Itezhi Tezhi Lake, all year a magnet for wildlife and birdlife. Four recently renovated luxury thatched tents for only 10 guests that during an entire safari conceivably never meet other tourists, ideal for “social distancing”. The ideal location to explore the largely undiscovered Kafue National Park, considered to be the new frontier in Zambian tourism. Larger than Kruger National Park in South Africa and just a 3 hrs drive from Livingstone at the majestic Victoria Falls, the Kafue National Park will treat his visitors with 160 species of mammals, more than 500 bird species and four of the Big Five.
