Our new little camp is one in a million.
Home to big herds of elephant, buffalo and all the Okavango Delta predators, this is an ideal place to find privacy amongst the prides. In fact, it’s no surprise that National Geographic and Netflix filmmaker Brad Bestelink has chosen to base himself here. This is also leopard country, a place with the third highest density of leopard recorded anywhere in Africa.
And being the only camp for miles around, this is an exceptional place to breathe in the solitude. Mokolwane is not only a special little camp big on adventure, but the ideal safari retreat for you to spend your days basking in its stillness.

In May 2023, Natural Selection will open “Duke’s East”, a small sister camp to “Duke’s Camp” in the game-rich and water-rich private concession “NG12” in the northern Okavango Delta, Botswana.

For more than 30 years, Jack’s Camp has been an icon of African safaris, pioneering under-canvas luxury on the fringes of Botswana’s ethereal Makgadikgadi Pans. This year the adventurous spirit of Jack Bousfield ventures into new territory, with the early June opening of Duke’s Camp in the magical wilderness of the northern Okavango Delta. While Jack’s has long taken its cue from the desert, Duke’s Camp draws its inspiration from the crystal-clear channels of the Okavango Delta, which wind sinuously around this permanent camp.

Switching off has always been top priority for us at Natural Selection and the sheer thought of exploring the pristine waterways of the Okavango Delta from the privacy of your bedroom, totally floats our boat! Okavango Spirit is an extraordinary houseboat experience offering eight comfy en-suite cabins, with sliding glass doors and private decks for total peace and tranquility in one of the most remote settings in the Okavango Delta.

Natural Selection continues to grow and complements its premium portfolio in Botswana with the exclusive luxury safari camp “North Island Okavango Camp”, a perfect addition to the two premium camps “Jack’s” and “Tuludi”, as well as the 2nd newcomer “Tawana” (opening mid-2023, see adjacent article)

North Island is scheduled to open in mid-June 2023 with just 3 spacious luxury tents, more rooms will be added at a later stage.

Tawana Camp to open in Moremi Game Reserve in mid 2023

“Tawana” is another exciting addition of the Natural Selection’s premium portfolio. The exclusive camp with 8 spacious luxury tents for a maximum of 16 guests is scheduled to open at the end of July 2023.

It is the first camp to be allowed to open within the Moremi Game Reserve in decades. The camp will be built on the southeast side of Moremi at the edge of the Gomoti River.
